Frequently asked questions

What’s the best way to reach your team?

You can reach us at donation@kidscancerfoundation.org or by phone at 203-340-1122. We’re always happy to answer questions or coordinate donations.

Where do the donated items go?

Your donations are distributed to hospitals across the United States and through our Developing Countries Program, which supports hospitals primarily in the Middle East and Africa.

What items are most helpful for caregivers?

We are grateful for all donations, and we are open to a wide range of items that can bring comfort and support to caregivers. Helpful contributions often include organizational and essential tools such as notebooks, journals, planners, pens, and pill organizers—items that help caregivers stay on top of medical schedules and important information.

Practical everyday items like laundry detergent pods, gentle dryer sheets, lotion, Aquaphor, antibacterial wipes, and basic toiletries (including toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, dry shampoo, makeup remover, razors, wipes, and gentle shaving cream) are also deeply appreciated.

Comfort-oriented items such as travel coffee mugs, reusable water bottles, blankets, slippers, socks, and eye masks can make long hospital days a bit easier.

Additionally, gift cards (DoorDash, Grubhub, Amazon, Visa) and portable battery packs or phone chargers are incredibly helpful for caregivers who spend long hours at the hospital and need quick access to meals or charging options.

Who receives the donated items?

All donated items go directly to caregivers of pediatric cancer patients. These items help caregivers stay organized with medical schedules, track essential information, and find moments of comfort and reflection during an extremely difficult time.

Where can I learn more about you?
